India Pentecostal Church Youth Ministry
The IPC Lakeland church is blessed with a diverse group of young people ranging from pre-schoolers up to single young adults. They are blessed with many talents and abilities ranging from music, drawing, drama, speaking, sports, academic excellence and much more.
John Luther said the following “Good character is more to be praised than outstanding talent. Most talents are to some extent a gift. Good character, by contrast, is not given to us. We have to build it piece by piece by thought, choice, courage and determination.
Powerhouse as we are known has as it’s primary goal to help each young person draw near, develop and nurture a personal relationship with JESUS. From that relationship the foundation is laid to build a life that is truly successful. We want to nurture that relationship by focusing on three specific areas:
1. Word: Psalms 119 “ Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
A Love for God’s Word – Learning & Applying it.
2. Worship John 4:23 “The Father is looking for those who will worship”
With our Lips and our Lives
3. Witness Matthew 28:19 “ Therefore go and make disciples “
Share what God has done in our lives.
As we prioritize these three areas for growth we become more like Jesus each day.
