Does this sound familiar? You day has been full of activities. From school to work to church activities to hanging out with family and friends. Finally you hit your bed and you decide to read the Bible and pray. You flip the Bible open and start reading a random passage and before you get halfway down the chapter you are asleep. You wake up a few minutes later and decide just to pray that day.

your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (2
Corinthians 11:3)
"Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread
rapidly and be honoured, just as it was with you. And pray that we may be
delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. But the
Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do
the things we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and
Christ's perseverance." (2 Thessalonians 3:1 to 5)
God is a promise-giver and promise-keeper! The whole Bible is filled with
the record of the promises of God to His people and details of how He kept
His word to them. In this article, we are going to specifically look at the
'faithfulness of God in keeping His promises' and 'our role in receiving the
fulfillment of those promises'.
