Our MISSION STATEMENT can be summed up in two words worship and evangelism.
The reason for the existence of the church is to worship God and to evangelize the world.
We believe that only when the church fulfills the duty of worshipping God,
the church qualifies to fulfill the task of evangelizing the world.
The church loves the word relationship: a vertical relationship to God
through Jesus Christ to worship Him and a horizontal relationship to the
world through Jesus Christ to evangelize it. The vertical relationship is
the base for the horizontal relationship. The mission statement can be expanded in six words.
Three of those words are borrowed from Paul and they are found in the
Book of Ephesians: sit (seated), walk and stand.
The remaining three words are of Jesus Christ and they are found in the
gospel of John: abide, love and witness.
He was well aware of his weakness, but he refused to make a change. He did everything right to avoid dealing with it.
He met all requirements for eternity, but one. He hoped even Jesus would brush it away ...
